Franco the Bunny had started as an idea for an illustrated children’s book many years ago. The hotel we stay at in Sommacampagna in summertime has rabbits around the property and the idea of an Italian rabbit in the countryside seemed a good idea to develop. What I realized was Franco the Bunny was more about jumpstarting my return to illustrating and painting after a decade of really not doing much artwork at all. It started with using the Wacom and Adobe Sketchbook and then grew into paintings, animations and character development. It will most likely never be completed, but it’s a still close to my heart every time I draw a rabbit
