Confidential Headquarters

Project realized while working with Gensler

This confidential headquarters project was one of those once-in-a-lifetime projects that I had worked on for almost 8 years. From hundreds of sketches, to technical details and finally highly detailed construction drawings - every detail was accounted for in this building. We sourced the travertine for most of the walls in Italy and had the slabs shipped to China to be cut and formed. On site in China, much of the building interior skin was assembled - and then marked for shipping in pieces to be installed again on site. The main hall is a 40-foot-tall space with slabs of thin-cut stone in the window frames to allow soft natural light to enter the space.
